			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It’s been quite a while, and i want to quickly inform you about the unfolding in Nigeria&#8217;s political arena as pertain to Goodluck Jonathan, Turai Yaradua, Usman Musa Yaradua, Hajia Dada and the Nation.</p>
<p>I really must confess that i am baffled and surprised at the rate at which the Nigerian government in ASO ROCK is fast becoming one of the best movie producers in the World. I never knew that we have good actors and actresses and that the Marketing could be so strong that even the Whole World would want to watch the movie as well as be casts in the movie.<br />
ASOROCK hood is presently producing one of the Worlds ever best sellers in the history of Movies, it has actually been modified in the Sense that we are now watching it as a SEASONAL movie.</p>

<p>Yar’Adua</p>
<p>The Executive Council of the Federation today said that President Umaru Yar’Adua is not incapable of discharging his office.</p>
<p>But the Senate has directed Yar’Adua to transmit a letter to the National Assembly that he had proceeded on vacation.</p>
<p>The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Dan Abutu, on Friday gave the council 14 days to pass a resolution to determine the state of health of ailing President Umaru Yar‘Adua in line with Section 144 of the 1999 Constitution.</p>
<p>The President has been receiving treatment for a heart condition in a Saudi hospital for over 60 days.</p>
<p>Rising from a meeting today, however, the Executive Council, through the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Mr. Michael Aondoakaa, said that Yar’Adua was fit to continue in office, insisting that a medical treatment outside the country did not constitute incapacity.</p>
<p>The Senate during its session today directed the President to forward a letter to the National Assembly that he had proceeded on vacation in line with the Section 144 of the Constitution.</p>
<p>At this junction there seem to be more Questions than Answers, However I will keep you updated has events unfold.</p>

<p>Every Nation has a ruler, a Lord, a King, a President, a Prime Minister; there is at least someone in charge. Wait a minute….</p>
<p>Who is in control of the affairs of Nigeria is it Vice President Goodluck Jonathan or The President Umaru Musa Yar’ Adua (Dead or Alive).</p>
<p>Actually, if the truth must be said Nigeria lacks Leadership at this present time, because the seat of the number 1 man in the nation is vacant. </p>
<p>Worse of all is not the fact that the seat is vacant but that the person occupying the seat has refuse to relinquish power whether dead or alive (nobody knows, at least no one is talking).<br />
Nobody knows for sure whether Yar Adua is dead, however there is a major truth in all of this occurrence and that is that Nigeria lacks truthful and credible leaders in power.</p>
<p>To say that Nigeria does not have truthful and credible leaders would be a fallacy of hasty generalization, however those occupying our political posts, those who you and I see every day in position of political authority, have made us to give up on ourselves and even on the Nation at large.</p>
<p>A practical example of such is the recent headline that was on the web.</p>

<p>The president left Nigeria fifty days ago after complaining of Chest pains. Sources at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Jeddah say that the president suffered among many other things, kidney failure, stroke and massive brain damage. </p>
<p>The President has been bedridden ever since. Nigerian officials had previously lied to the country that the president&#8217;s health was getting better while his situation got worse. The president was conspicuously silent regarding the Christmas day bombing in which a 23-year-old Nigerian, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab tried to detonate a bomb on an aircraft that carried nearly 300 people.”</em><br />

<p>Allafricanews.com culled this news from americanchronicles.com, a couple hours before I visited allafricanews.com, I had visited americanchronicles.com following a link provided by Deolu Akinyemi.</p>
<p>Two hours after I checked AllAfricannews, I went back to the Chronicles only to discover that the news was no longer there.</p>

We each have a conscious and unconscious Mind. Even with hypnosis, you can’t really have two way communications with the unconscious mind in any effective and reliable fashion; however you can communicate with the Conscious Mind.<br />
It is worthy of Note that the Conscious Mind and Unconscious mind appear to have significantly different personality characteristics, attitude, and motivation. I would have expected that since the Conscious and Unconscious are both in the Mind there would be little or no differences, the opposite is the case<br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#0000ff;">The Unconscious mind makes rapid- fire choices. It also tends to stereotype and categorize people right down to whether someone you meet is like a person you once knew. It immediately analysis and detects an information, it does not really take a deep thought process.<br />
The Unconscious Mind deals with now. The Conscious mind deals with the future. The unconscious mind is rigid, while the Conscious mind is flexible. The Unconscious mind is sensitive to negative information, it tends to be pessimistic. The conscious? Positive. The unconscious is a pattern detector ( It tends to treat new situations that have similar experience as other in similar patterns). The Conscious Mind is an after the fact checker. The Unconscious mind is multisystem. The conscious mind is a single system.<br />

<p><span style="color:#0000ff;">The Unconscious is scared of risk, to stretch our boundaries is often something that seems risky to the unconscious self, and therefore the very idea of the change can literally feel bad. The Unconscious is scared to take risk and therefore is rigid to Change.  That gut instinct is wrong but that is what the survival mechanism in the brain sends to the body. Fear. Anxiety. Maybe even panic.<br />
It is therefore critical to evaluate the emotions of the moment or the day and discover if there is a legitimate, rational signal that your brain is relaying to you. Or is the brain simply telling you it is afraid, and the fear is <span style="color:#ff0000;">False Evidence Appearing Real (FEAR)?</span><br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#0000ff;"><span style="color:#ff6600;">HOW TO OVERCOME THE NEGATIVITY OF THE UNCONSCIOUS</span><br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#0000ff;">If you decide (consciously) that the mind and body are feeling afraid without good cause for the situation at hand, realize that it will take some significant amount of time to overcome the fear of the situation. It certainly won’t go away in a minute, an hour, or a day.<br />
Typically it is necessary to wire in a completely new set of responses to the current situation and fight through fear and negative emotions every day until new levels of comfort can be achieved.<br />
One of the great problems of trying to know yourself is that you really can’t completely know yourself. Study after study shows that complete strangers are almost as good at predicting our behavior as we are ourselves. We think we know ourselves but we really don’t know ourselves as well as we would like to. Because of the way the brain works, though, if we don’t like what we see ourselves doing and thinking, we can change. Change is an action to make something or someone different, you have to make a choice in your mind to change for you to change for the better. The Conscious Mind would definitely help you in the afore mentioned because you tend to look at the future in a positive mode, and you make deliberate effort to cause the change that you desire, However you need the Unconscious Mind to remind you of Now and make your change come to reality..</span></p>

<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">In a perfect world, every mission has well−defined objectives, clear−cut guidelines to operate and exact metrics to measure success. In reality, people charge forward without having all their ducks in a row. It’s human nature. If it happens on the battlefield, it results in casualties and long−drawn−out campaigns. In the business world, it results in far−reaching concepts that never should have gotten off the ground, poor product launches, inaccurate budgeting, and business ventures that should never have been financed. The greatest enthusiasm in the world won’t make up for a business plan that doesn’t work.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">So, what’s the point of having a goal, and not setting out steps on how to achieve your goals. The subject of Goal Setting seems to have been over emphasized a lot of times, by different people, in different places, and in different situation. The ultimate truth is that no matter how much we talk about this subject we can never over talk about it.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">Do you think that you spend too much time on planning? Actually you need to spend some more. Do you feel that you worry too much about details? Yes it’s important that you know what you are doing and why you are doing what you doing.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">If you set out on a course that you want to achieve you have to be convinced and make out plans on how you want to go about achieving it, because when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">Success in your career, business, relationship, spiritual life does not require everything to go right at all times, so what does it require? It simply requires you to plan ahead for the times when things go wrong and how you intend to return to winning ways. The test of a true champion is that a true Champion can bounce back from failure no matter how bad it seems.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">I cannot say this year that you will not face challenges; I cannot also say that your plans would be executed 100%, but I can guarantee you that if you set out to achieve goals that are feasible, achievable, realistic, and measurable and with a time limit, you definitely will achieve your ultimate goal(s).</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">So, what’s the gist…?</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"> </span></p>

<li><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>Choose a path and take your chances</strong></span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">Set out with a specific goal that you want to achieve this year, write it out, no wonder even the Holy Scripture says that “write the vision and make it plain that He might run that readeth it”</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">In as much as you know your plans for the year in your head endeavor to put it down in writing,</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">Nothing becomes dynamic until it is SPECIFIC.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">Don’t chase the wind this New Year, my previous experience in year 2009, as taught me that you can actually set out to achieve goals that are not Realistic. I entered 2009 with a lot of optimism; on January 1<sup>st</sup> I decided that my goal for the year would be to have a net income of #1,000,000 (1 million Naira) at the end of the year. Did I achieve this goal? The answer is obvious to all and sundry, I didn’t make one tenth of the proposed amount.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">I could not achieve this goal, simply because I did not have a plan to help me achieve the goal, secondly the goal was not realistic at the time because I had no business in mind to help me achieve this goal.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">So what’s my goal for 2010? Actually, it’s the same as 2009, the only difference is that unlike the goal that I set in the previous year, I have decided to create mechanism, plans and events that would help me accomplish my goal.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">I therefore implore everyone (including myself) in this New Year, that we should endeavor to CHOOSE A PATH and TAKE OUR CHANCES as they come.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">Opportunities would come this year that would definitely boost you up in your arrears of specialization, However if you are not prepared, you might not see the opportunity talk more of ceasing it when it comes.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">The goals that we have chosen to accomplish this year can be achieved by proper planning and goal setting.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;">As we plan and make attempt to accomplish the goals that we have set, we can only go far in accomplishing this goal if our thought pattern corresponds with that which we intend to achieve.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"> </span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On Wednesday 28<sup>th</sup> July 2009 at about 10 am, as I turned on my radio and tuned from one station to another, searching for an interesting program, I was overwhelmed when I heard the Voice of Adeolu Akinyemi in one of the local stations precisely on EKO FM (Free Advert) with great joy and intent ears I listened to know what the discussion was about. The topic for the discussion as I can vividly remember is <strong>THE NIGERIAN DREAM, </strong>what in God’s Name is THE Nigerian Dream, have heard about the American Dream but never in my whole life have I ever come across anything like the Nigerian Dream however I made it a point to listen to what was to be said about the Nigerian Dream.</p>
<p>The guest for the day Mr. Adeolu Akinyemi, for those who don’t already know is a foremost brand in Business leadership, Innovation and he is currently the founder of the New Nigerian Club and Managing Director Generis business school to mention but a few. He is a Patriot. Mr. Adeolu Akinyemi spoke extensively on the topic and I will like to buttress his points and reiterate the ones that he made on the program.</p>
<p><span style="color:#ff0000;"><em>What really is the Nigerian Dream?</em></span> Actually the Nigerian Dream is not farfetched unlike the American Dream, the Nigerian Dream is written in the heart of Nigerians <span style="color:#000080;">“it is what every patriotic individual in Nigeria desires to see Nigeria become”,</span> and since the government has refused to set out a Nigerian Dream every Individual has chosen to set out a Dream for himself or herself for the betterment of the Nation.</p>
<p><em><span style="color:#ff0000;">What is the Nigerian Joke?</span> </em>It’s quite pathetic that Nigerians set out with the Nigerian Dream only to see their dreams gradually erode into a joke; the Nigerian dream is fast becoming the Nigerian joke. <span style="color:#000080;">The Nigerian joke is seeing what we all desire to see in the nation in our individual empires but not in the nation</span>. A lot of us in Nigeria have a comfortable empire in our homes, steady power supply (thanks to generators), the best of Education (Private Universities, Foreign Universities), and tarred roads in our estates, but outside the comfort of our home is the harsh reality of life. Bad roads, poor power supply, poor standard of Education, corruption and bad Leadership. The Average Nigerian has a me, myself and I attitude, a lot of people don’t care about their neighbors. It’s high time we smell the coffee and realize that in as much as we can prosper individually we would go a long way in achieving our dreams if we work together collectively to make the system work better instead of trying to beat the system.</p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;"><em>“The gap between the Nigerian Dream and the Nigerian Joke is <strong>COMMITEMNT”</strong></em></span></p>
<p><em><span style="color:#ff0000;">Is Politics really dirty?</span> </em>Yes politics is a dirty game, this is the answer of an average Nigerian; however it’s not true that politics is dirty the problem is that a lot of Nigerians are not ready to pay the price for change, we have chosen to relegate ourselves and watch corrupt rulers rule over this nation. We sit down in our homes, talk about change in our offices and in Educational institutions but we leave everything that pertains to politics to a set of people (mediocre) who know absolutely nothing about  how our nation can be made better. There is no gain without a pain; we must be ready to get involved in the process by talking (which a lot of people are doing) but above talking about changing the system we must be ready to be the change ourselves. It’s easier and faster for the lawmakers and President (Political Office Holder) to make decisions that would affect the Nation compared to me writing this blog post, the office would give them ample opportunities to exercise their power and make their opinions count. <strong></strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff0000;"><strong>“Enough of talking is high time Change Agents in Nigeria get involved in the change (Politics)”</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff0000;"><em>How do I get involved in the Nigerian Dream?</em></span> It’s quite simple, do your part in Nation building and tell your neighbor to take part in nation building. Get involved in the Nations politics, you don’t necessarily have to contest, but make sure you vote, tell your friends and foes to vote also for the right person. Contest if you believe you can do well in politics; you can encourage your friend(s) to contest if you believe that such a person or people can cause positive change to the nation.</p>

The ability to manage time would lead to high productivity; no wonder the equation below is very relevant in the business world and in the World at large. It’s a basic equation that helps you as an individual it is tested and trusted.</p>
<p><strong>TIME MANAGEMENT SKILL = HIGH PRODUCTIVITY</strong></p>
<p>As individuals we have a considerable number of events, people and situations that are competing for our time, the ability to manage our time and priorities well would in-turn increase our productivity. High productivity can be achieved by setting out goals and managing time to achieve goals, giving you a time bound. Every individual in the world has a universal time, we all have 24 hours there is nobody in the world that has an extra 1 second added to his/her 24 hours, however the difference between lots of this people is not the inability to set out goals rather it’s the inability to set time bounds, some people set time bound but never take actions to meet with the stipulated time. Every successful person that have come to know over a period of time achieved success because they set out goals, took action to achieve their goals but more than that, they learnt to manage their time judiciously.</p>
<p>Having said all of this I believe that it is very important for me to establish <strong>the 80:20 RULE</strong> which states:</p>
<ul>
<li><em>80% of unfocused effort produces 20% results</em></li>
<li><em>20% of focused effort produces 80% results</em></li>
</ul>
<p>A lot of young entrepreneurs, students and adults love doing things, partaking in activities; they do not concentrate their effort on achieving goals.</p>
<p>I remember my first few days at home during the ongoing ASU strike I was quite very busy, but after thorough evaluating of my first one week, I have been able come to the strong realization that I was only able to succeed in getting myself involved in activities without achieving the most important things which is achieving my goals</p>
<p>I woke up several times and left my home as early as 8: am and return as late 10: pm, boarding busses and visiting people without achieving anything after during an appraisal of my first one week I discovered that I was just getting my self involved in a lot of activities without achieving anything. A lot of people also face the scenario above…..</p>
<p>Lessons</p>
<ul>
<li>Unfocused effort is definitely bound to lead to under productivity, doing less than what you can normally do if you focus your energy into doing.</li>
<li>Longer time to achieve your goals</li>
<li>Plan each day carefully, and set out time for your task, don’t just spend or while away time, invest your time.</li>
<li>Activity supported with “time-tied” deliveries, will ultimately lead to productivity.</li>
<li>Focus your efforts at achieving your goals, if 20 % of focused effort can yield 80% result, it therefore means that if you can increase your focus you can increase productivity</li>
<li>Concentrate on more speed less work. If you channel your time well you would achieve a lot in little time, a lot of us concentrate on more work less speed at the end the result we get cannot measure with our works</li>
</ul>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I would like to appreciate everyone who has kept fate with visiting this blog site, inviting your friends and above all giving your views by leaving your comment(s). However I would like to apologize for my inability to post for quite a while now, it’s due to what is termed in pidgin as Awuf and negligent on my own part.</p>
<p>       A pidgin proverbs says “Awuf dey purge belle”</p>
<p>I would like to appreciate Sola a very good friend of mine now, he saved me the trouble having to buy a new power pack for my laptop. After my successful exploit of using free internet facilities in Obafemi Awolowo Universities (O.A.U), I engaged in using this free internet access when I should have been at home, considering the fact that ASU was on strike and there was a directive from the school Management that all students should vacate the campus, instead of vacating the school premises I stayed back to enjoy the free internet access, I went to browse one fateful day and in the process I forgot my power pack after browsing and I couldn’t find it. The day after the school made strong is intention for all students to leave, the notice read that we (Students) MUST all leave the campus TODAY, I had no option but to leave seeing that virtually all the students had left  the campus. I had to embark on a journey back to IFE from Lagos in other to receive my power pack from the good Samaritan who found it.</p>
<p>There is always a price to pay for everything, even the seemingly free meal aint really free cos somebody somewhere is paying the bills; it therefore means that there is always a price for everything. </p>
<p>I have learnt my lesson through this experience; hope you have also learnt something from my experience.</p>
<p>It promises to be a more interesting time, I am back and better, your comments really counts and your contribution(s) goes a long way in helping a lot of people and addressing situations…. </p>

<p style="text-align:center;"><strong>&#8220;I Have a Dream,&#8221; Address delivered at the March<br />
on Washington for Jobs and Freedom<br />
28 August 1963<br />
Washington, D.C</strong></p>
<p>I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for<br />
freedom in the history of our nation. [applause]<br />
Fivescore years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the<br />
<span style="color:#0000ff;">Emancipation Proclamation</span>. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions<br />
of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak<br />
to end the long night of their captivity.<br />
But one hundred years later, <span style="color:#0000ff;">the Negro still is not free</span>. <span style="color:#0000ff;">[Audience:] (My Lord) One hundred years later,<br />
</span>the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of<br />
discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a<br />
vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later (My Lord) [applause], the Negro is still<br />
languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. And so we’ve<br />
come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.<br />
In a sense we&#8217;ve come to our nation’s capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote<br />
the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence (Yeah), they were<br />
signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all<br />
men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the <span style="color:#0000ff;"><strong>&#8220;unalienable Rights of Life,<br />
Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.&#8221; </strong></span>It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this<br />
promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred<br />
obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked<br />
&#8220;insufficient funds.&#8221; [Sustained applause]<br />
But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. (My Lord) [laughter] (Sure enough) We<br />
refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. And<br />
so we’ve come to cash this check (Yes), a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom<br />
(Yes) and the security of justice. [applause]<br />
We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of now. This is no<br />
time (My Lord) to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism.<br />
[Applause] Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. (My Lord) Now is the time to rise<br />
from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time<br />
[applause] to lift our nation from the quicksand’s of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.<br />
Now is the time [applause] to make justice a reality for all of God’s children.<br />
It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the<br />
Negro’s legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and<br />
equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. And those who hope that the Negro<br />
needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to<br />
business as usual. [applause] There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is<br />
granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our<br />
nation until the bright day of justice emerges.<br />
But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into<br />
the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful<br />
deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and<br />
hatred. (My Lord) [applause] We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and<br />
discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and<br />
again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force. The marvelous<br />
new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white<br />
people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize<br />
that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. [applause] And they have come to realize that their<br />
freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. We cannot walk alone.<br />
And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back.<br />
There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, &#8220;When will you be satisfied?&#8221; (Never)<br />
We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police<br />
brutality. We can never be satisfied [applause] as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel,<br />
cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. [applause] We cannot be<br />
satisfied as long as the Negro’s basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. We can never be<br />
satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their selfhood and robbed of their dignity by signs<br />
stating &#8220;for whites only.&#8221; [applause] We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot<br />
vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. (Yes) [applause] No, no, we<br />
are not satisfied and we will not be satisfied until &#8220;justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like<br />
a mighty stream.&#8221; [applause]<br />
I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. (My Lord)<br />
Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. Some of you have come from areas where your<br />
quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution (Yes) and staggered by the winds of<br />
police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that<br />
unearned suffering is redemptive. Go back to Mississippi (Yes), go back to Alabama, go back to South<br />
Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern<br />
cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed. (Yes) Let us not wallow in the<br />
valley of despair.<br />
I say to you today, my friends [applause], so even though we face the difficulties of today and<br />
tomorrow,<strong><span style="color:#ff0000;"> I still have a dream</span></strong>. (Yes) It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.<br />
I have a dream that one day (Yes) this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: &#8220;We<br />
hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.&#8221; (Yes) [applause]<br />
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of<br />
former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.<br />
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice<br />
(Well), sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.<br />
<span style="color:#ff0000;"><strong>I have a dream (Well) [applause] that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they<br />
will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. (My Lord) I have a<br />
dream today. [Applause]<br />
</strong></span>I have a dream that one day down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips<br />
dripping with the words of &#8220;interposition&#8221; and &#8220;nullification&#8221; (Yes), one day right there in Alabama<br />
little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as<br />
sisters and brothers. I have a dream today. [Applause]<br />
I have a dream that one day &#8220;every valley shall be exalted (Yes), and every hill and mountain shall be<br />
made low; the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight (Yes); and<br />
the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.&#8221; (Yes)<br />
This is our hope. This is the faith that I go back to the South with. (Yes) With this faith we will be able<br />
to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. (Yes) With this faith we will be able to<br />
Transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. (Talk about it)<br />
With this faith (My Lord) we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, and to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day. [Applause] This<br />
Will be the day [applause continues], this will be the day when all of God’s children (Yes) will be able<br />
To sing with new meaning:<br />
My country, ’tis of thee (Yes), sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.<br />
Land where my father’s died, land of the pilgrim’s pride (Yes),<br />
From every mountainside, let freedom ring!<br />
And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.<br />
And so let freedom ring (Yes) from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.<br />
Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.<br />
Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania. (Yes, that’s right)<br />
Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado. (Well)<br />
Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California. (Yes)<br />
But not only that: Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia. (Yes)<br />
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee. (Yes)<br />
Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi. (Yes)<br />
From every mountainside, let freedom ring. [Applause]<br />
And when this happens [applause continues], when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from<br />
Every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city (Yes), we will be able to speed up that<br />
Day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and<br />
Catholics will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:<br />
Free at last! (Yes) Free at last!<br />
Thank God Almighty, we are free at last! [Applause]</p>

<p>Do not give up on yourself, Never! Ever!! Ever!!! Give up on yourself.<br />
At one time or the other, situations and challenges would arise that would make you think of throwing in the towel. Rather than giving up remain strong, every challenge is a stepping stone to an higher height, don’t give up. Most people that ever achieved anything meaningful did not give up on themselves even when all the odds were against them. Your future is bright and you have a nice destiny but you have to learn to start from where you are, from your present position, what you do today would determine where you would be in matter of years from now. Make plans for the future, a Japanese adage once said.</p>
<p>“Make plan, big plans attract big people. Don’t make small plans, small plans attract small people and small people cause big problems.” – <strong>Japanese Adage</strong><br />
Plan for your future; make big plans for your future, but start from where you are. Solve the immediate challenges surrounding you, be a solution to problem, be a problem solver. If you are diligent in little things grater things would be entrusted into your hands. A practical Example of someone that was able to pull through her challenge and problems is Helen Keller; Helen Keller was able to turn her situation around. See every challenge as an opportunity, don’t give up on yourself.</p>
<p>American lecturer and writer Helen Keller overcame severe physical disabilities, inspiring many other people to similar accomplishments. Deaf and blind from the age of 19 months, Keller learned to communicate with the help of her teacher, Anne Sullivan. Sullivan taught Keller to read Braille and to “listen” by feeling a speaker’s face. Keller graduated from Radcliffe College in 1904 and authored a number of books about her experiences.<br />
A movie “The Miracle Worker” was shot to narrate her experience.</p>
<p><strong>Anne Sullivan</strong> saw an opportunity to make a difference, she was able to see hope were others saw disability. While watching City of Ember, a movie I learnt the lesson below;</p>
<p>“Pay close attention to everything, everything you see, notice what no one else notices.<br />
What you get is what you get. What you do with what you get that’s very important”.</p>
<p>Never give up on a situation, Just like Helen Keller there is hope for you, God can make a message out of your mess.</p>
<p><strong>GIVE IT ALL THAT IT TAKES</strong> don’t give up. Do your best in every situation, I have to see in my own life that if at all times I give Life’s challenges my best effort.<br />
